Melody, the Foundation is looking forward to reviewing your application. On the idea for a museum, I think it would be great if you wrote up your thoughts and submitted it as an op-ed to the Nichi Bei Times and Hokubei Mainichi. Would be a good way to get the idea some attention.

Thanks Keith and Minami,
I look forward to applying for the grant. Though I still wish and think about how great it would be to have a museum dedicated to the JA of SF, the JA military personel. Within the museum an internet site that connections to global J-towns and other JA community sites. This museum would have an international visual arts exhibit area for current Japanese, JA, and Asian pacific global community with an adjacent area for small presentations for gatherings that can change shape by utulizing Isamu Noguchi sculptural props he created for theater with access to a cafe that opens up into the Peace Plaza. I also think it is a great location for a asian pacific theater with conference rooms for multi-purpose use. Which location am I talking about the Miyako Mall side next to the Radisson Miyako. I would really appreciate it if our Japantown community would take interest in such a building. It has potential to be an international hub for the continent of Asia, and Asian Pacific Islands.

Sincerely,
Melody Takata
